Our Mission
PatientMic is a UA-100 Unincorporated Non-Profit Association with a mission to empower patients to navigate healthcare through education with thoughtfulness, empathy and care.
According to the American Medical Association, poor health literacy is a stronger predictor of a person's health than age, income, education level, or race
Offline, we placed hundreds of educational pamphlets in clinics around Orange County; however, we believed it was time to expand. We aspire to become a microphone for patients and physicians throughout North America.
Our Team
Daniel Soroudi
Founder and President
Daniel has received his Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine. He has devoted much of his time envisioning how to use his platform to give patients a voice through education. Daniel first began making educational pamphlets to alleviate college alcohol abuse in 2018 and soon witnessed its effectiveness. Six months later, he founded a group dedicated to creating and distributing various medical materials to improve medical literacy throughout the United States.
